Manager, Corporate Sustainability

at Global Impact Investing Network (GIIN) in New York, NY / remote flexibility

About the Job

The Corporate Sustainability Manager will lead the establishment of an innovative new stream of programming within GIIN membership. Historically, corporations have made limited use of impact investing instruments and partnerships other than efforts undertaken by corporate venture capital arms and corporate foundations. However, in response to events over the last 18 months, including the COVID crisis, initiatives to support racial equity, and the increasing focus on addressing climate change, companies have announced significant new commitments to utilize corporate assets to contribute to a sustainable economy. The GIIN is launching a new stream of work to support companies in exploring how to engage with and in impact investing in a more strategic manner, including through the use of corporate treasury assets.

The GIIN is hiring a dedicated Manager to lead this work, including outreach to the corporate community and identifying opportunities to build collaborations with the rest of the GIIN membership and network. The role will be an exciting opportunity to pioneer new approaches to leveraging corporate assets and markets to deliver sustainable and inclusive economies.
