at GenderSmart in Remote

About the Job

GenderSmart is seeking a committed and creative new team member to support our growing global field-building initiative, which is dedicated to unlocking gender-smart capital at scale. Over the next 12 months we will convene our community for a series of online programming as well as host our flagship Summit in late 2022. As we ramp up our strategic planning and operations, we are looking for someone to provide coordination and administrative support across our small but mighty team. This will be a varied role working with our internal team and global community to plan and deliver action-oriented, dialogue- drive world-class experiences.

This position is offered on a consultant/freelance basis. We anticipate the workload to be approx 15-20 hours per week until the end of 2021, and then 35 - 40 hours per week until the end of 2022. We are looking for someone to start in November 2021. This is a remote role, with the ideal candidate based in the UK or Europe.

  • Content and programming support - working with our Head of Content to design and support the delivery of a high-level, engaging programme that covers the breadth of the gender lens investing field;
  • Operations support - a variety of tasks across logistics, scheduling and other administrative elements;

  • Audience experience - support with producing a world-class experience for our delegates, both in person and online.
  • Data management - supporting the team’s access to the data we need, generating reports etc. We use Salesforce.

This role could be a good fit if you:

  • Are interested in gender, gender lens investing, impact investing and/or finance as a tool for social change

  • Are happy working flexibly to meet deadlines and achieve goals, and comfortable jumping in on a range of tasks
