About the Job

Senior Executive with Social Impact Partners

Reporting to the Executive Director and providing support in all areas of the organisation including:-

  • Dealing with the board
  • Helping define the future for the organisation
  • Deal sourcing and evaluation- Identifying and sourcing new deals through attending conferences and market research Screening and evaluating potential investee organizations ,assess risks and opportunities, supporting the due diligence process, manage negotiations and presenting to the Board for investment approval
  • Support in seeking investment partners, structuring deals and raising finance- Facilitating pro bono relationships with service providers that may be useful for investees, Looking for like minded co-investment partners
  • Management of the portfolio and mentoring, supporting and marketing investees - Overseeing how the investee companies are developing
    • Intervening as appropriate
    • Monitoring progress
    • Offering the services of third party partners as appropriate
  • Managing the exit of investee organizations


Suitable candidates will have had a previous career in banking and be familiar with private equity investments and managing the full investment process. In addition you will have:

  • Comfort in dealing with a board
  • Ability to represent the organisation externally
  • Passion and experience in philanthropy and social investment
  • Strong people skills and the confidence and ability to present in conferences, to the Board and potential investors
  • Deal management and execution experience including critical analysis and financial analysis skills
  • Sales, marketing and fund raising experience
  • Ability to work independently, handle uncertainty and problem solve
  • Fluency in English is essential and Cantonese and/or Mandarin will be a distinct advantage (including reading and writing)
