About this exciting opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced team with a mission of transforming the provision of financial services for people in vulnerable circumstances. 

At Fair4All Finance we are developing equity, debt and grant funds to allow us to deliver blended finance to promote sustainable growth of affordable credit providers delivering fair and affordable products and services that improve the financial resilience and wellbeing of people in vulnerable circumstances. We are looking for someone who shares our passion to improve people’s lives through establishing financing tailored specifically for this sector to enable it to scale sustainably.    

What do our future aspirations look like

By 2026 we’d like to see customers in vulnerable circumstances increasingly provided with products and services tailored to their needs. Both from an affordable credit point of view and with appropriate savings and insurance products and services widely available too.

We recognise our plans will need to be flexible as we all respond to the rapidly changing world around us and we know it’s going to be an interesting and challenging journey. We’d love to work with you as we build on what works well, surface gaps and innovate together to transform the system.

All Fair4All Finance team members are currently working from home. We will be as flexible as possible in light of any COVID-19 priorities and challenges which you may be facing.

Qualifications

What we are looking for

We’re looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and driven investment professional to support the successful launch of our planned Debt Fund, including conducting financial due diligence on some of our planned investments into affordable credit providers, supporting funder due diligence, and managing a small portfolio of existing investments.

We’re looking for someone with a strong investment background with good commercial acumen, strong analytical skills and the ability to develop compelling investment propositions to take to our board for approval. It would be great if you have previous experience from the private, social or public sector.

Evidence of strength in numeracy and business acumen 

Desirable but not essential: accounting or equivalent relevant investment qualification
