About the Job

Support processing of applicant proposals and management of pipeline including compilation and data entry in SalesForce (CRM) and check distribution accordingly.

Support financial and programmatic analysis of grantee reports (e.g. data entry, analysis, visualizations)

Respond and triage questions related to grant management portal including questions associated to applications and registrations

Manage receipt and all aspects of communication for the quarterly and annual reports from grantees

Assist with researching external partners or potential grantees (e.g. Giving Tour)

Assist with capital forecasting and budgeting for the Foundation

Assist with data gathering and analysis from external sources (e.g. ESG, Lyme statistics)

Qualifications

BA or Master’s degree preferred

3 to 5 years’ experience in grant-making

Strong technical skills including Excel, MS Word, and PowerPoint

Ability to create and design PowerPoint presentations

Salesforce experience (imputing data and generating reports)

Foundation in accounting and finance

Ability to attend evening events

Must work in office

This individual will be a member of the team and will oversee critical aspects of the Foundation’s grantmaking portfolio under the direction of the Senior Program Officer, Executive Director and Foundation’s President, Alexandra Cohen. This individual will be responsible for supporting Foundation leadership in clarifying goals for impact within each element of the portfolios, sourcing and guiding due diligence on grantees, structuring grants, and supporting grantees throughout the grant period to ensure optimal results.
