About the Job

Finance in Motion is seeking an Analyst Environmental & Social Management (m/f/d).


Key responsibilities:

  • Contribute to the continuous refinement and implementation of our funds’ Environmental and Social Management Systems (ESMS), including E&S policies and procedures
  • Provide support to investment teams on E&S due diligence and monitoring of investees
  • Collect and analyze E&S data of investments for performance reporting
  • Contribute to writing E&S memoranda on investments
  • Organize meetings on E&S matters under management guidance
  • Support management of external service providers
  • Monitor the evolving approach of International Financial Institutions to E&S and assess the implications for the company
  • Conduct research on selected E&S topics and administrative duties

What we expect:

  • University studies (Bachelor/Master) in environmental studies, natural resource management, geography or other relevant disciplines
  • Sufficent relevant work experience
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Attention to detail, ability to work under pressure and within tight deadlines
  • Well-developed organizational skills and and self-drive
  • Flexibility and a team player
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • Fluency in other languages of Finance in Motion’s countries of operation is an asset
  • Demonstrable commitment to Finance in Motion´s vision/mission
