About the Job
The Baobab Network takes a fresh outlook on social and economic development. We connect the world's best business talent with tech start-ups in Africa, through our intensive, one week consulting programmes.
The businesses that we work with are all for profit, and we believe that if they scale and secure investment, they can go on to have incredible impact on their customers and in their markets.
We work with entrepreneurs that are using new technology and innovation key market problems.
We select top tier professionals for our programmes that have worked in consulting, banking, finance, tech or big business and place them into high potential start-up companies for one week strategy projects. In the last three years we have had over 90 people come through our programmes, working with start-ups in 8 different African cities.
Our engagements offer a unique way to gain challenging first hand emerging markets experience whilst supporting exciting, tech enabled start-up companies who are desperately in need of strategic support.
Our teams then deliver vital work that helps companies scale and crucially, become more attractive to Angel, VC and Impact Investors active in the region.
