Cambridge Associates is a leading global investment firm and aims to help endowments & foundations, pension plans, and high net worth private clients implement and manage custom investment portfolios that generate outperformance and enable them to maximize their impact on the world. We deliver a range of portfolio management services, including outsourced CIO, non-discretionary portfolio management, investment staff extension, and asset class mandates.

The Mission Related Investing (MRI) team is dedicated to assisting clients in the broad area of mission-related and socially-responsible investing. The Summer Analyst will support work across the spectrum of mission-related investing and will focus on supporting MRI Investment Directors through quantitative and qualitative research assignments. Specific tasks will be centered around investment due-diligence on mission-related investment funds, thematic research on topical areas of focus, and content creation to support the firm-wide MRI platform.

The Summer Analyst will be expected to work 40 hours per week and will be competitively compensated.

Typical Responsibilities Include:
• Assist with developing and maintaining internal content related to mission-related investing.
• Support manager research efforts by attending meetings and writing reports on investment strategies.
• Serve as an internal resource to client teams seeking current information on mission-related investment opportunities.

Qualifications

Requirements:
• Undergraduate student (any major) with record of high academic achievement — open to rising juniors and seniors
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, strong attention to detail, ability to prioritize and work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Familiarity with computer databases and spreadsheets, especially Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Demonstrated interest in investments, capital markets, mission-related investing, social equity, and/or sustainability topics
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship or restriction now and in the future
