About the Job

We are looking for

A dedicated professional who manage client relationship with field clients, produces due diligence material, analyzes and monitors institutional credit risk and country risk for investees and targets, develop market potential estimates on targets, for some countries of the Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus region.

The position is based in our Head office in Geneva, with reporting line to the Regional Manager.

Job Description
•Conduct on-site due diligences of financial institutions in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus
•Write credit risk appraisals, investment advisory reports and social performance evaluations
•Monitor global situation, opportunities and risks in financial markets of the above mentioned region
•Develop a pipeline of credit worthy investment targets in specific financial markets, including micro, leasing, SME financing institutions and banks
•Be the main point of contact for financial partners in the region
•Maintain and monitor a portfolio of invested companies, including monthly financial reporting
•Support the development of new business opportunities in the region. Maintain and develop networks of contacts, including local banks, national microfinance associations and central banks, etc.

Qualifications

Skills/qualifications/experience

We are looking for a dynamic and autonomous person, able to work in fast growing and challenging environment, as well as having attention to detail. More specifically, we have the following requirements:
•University degree or equivalent, preferably in a finance related field
•Strong analytical skills with previous experience (2-3 years) in credit analysis, financial analysis or investment management
•Professional experience in Eastern Europe, Central Asia and Caucasus as a strong asset
•Good knowledge of the impact finance industry
•Proven interest for emerging and frontier markets and sustainable development
•Fluent in English; good knowledge of Russian
•Willingness and readiness to travel (up to 30%)
