Dreilinden gGmbH

Who we are:
Dreilinden gGmbH (www.dreilinden.org) was founded in 2006 by Ise Bosch. Our administrative office is located in Hamburg. We strive to increase the social acceptance of gender and sexual diversity internationally through grant making, project funding, and network building.
Gender issues are at the heart of Dreilinden’s grant-making program. We exclusively make grants in three areas:
• Human rights and empowerment of LGBTQI (lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, and intersex) people, women, and girls – in the world outside the “West”
• Anti-racism with a focus on women, girls, and LGBTQI people
• The improvement of gender criteria for sustainable investments
Since our founding, we have also been pursuing these goals through the investment of our capital. We currently have nine holdings and 17 percent of our capital in the impact investment segment, and want to significantly increase the number and volume of such investments while also taking on more of an activist investor role.
Our impact investments focus on:
• Countries outside of the USA, focusing on emerging economies
• Investments that directly improve the lives of women, girls, and LGBTQI people
• Helping companies and projects that have strong development potential to become economically independent through direct investments and long-term loans
• Integrating a feminist and human rights perspective into the investment process
• Informing the public about our approach and our investments
